Our emphasis is on safety first, fun second. Kyushu Ju-Jitsu will provide youth with fitness, a way to learn focus and concentration as well as learning about conflict avoidance through non-violent means. Our goal is to help students gain confidence in themselves and their abilities and boost self esteem.

Our Youth Mission Statement
The Kyushu-Ryu youth mission is:
To provide a safe, positive, fun martial arts environment where instructors are dedicated to building self-esteem, self-confidence and the self discipline of all the youth who attend while fostering athletics, fitness and wellness.
A trained practitioner knows that he has a better then average chance of defending himself in a violent conflict, therefore, he no longer needs to prove it. To do so means all logic and intelligence has broken down and he has lowered himself to that of an animal.
