Welcome to Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu in Essex!

Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu is a traditional Japanese martial art system. We are a strictly non-tournament organization. While grappling and ground combatives are an important component of our studies we also spend much of our time studying Judo-like throwing techniques, joint manipulation and control as seen in Aikido, common hold escapes and defence against weapons and various strikes making Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jutsu one of the most comprehensive martial arts styles you will find anywhere.

This is an extremely street orientated system where students practice cooperatively in a safe and controlled environment. The style builds self-confidence, self-discipline while fostering athletics and fitness. Come see what all the fun is about!!
